No, it does not mean you are "crazy" if you come to therapy. People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons from depression to anxiety to a major life change. If you are coming to therapy, it means you would like something in your life to be different.
Do you prescribe medication?
I am not a medical doctor and cannot, therefore, prescribe medication. If medication is indicated for treatment and you feel that it is something you could benefit from, I would be happy to refer you to a physician. Care will be coordinated between you, your doctor, and myself.
No, I do not exclusively see individuals with depression, couples, and teens. I am trained to provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy. I treat a wide range of issues and populations. The therapeutic relationship, however, is incredibly important to success in treatment. I want all my clients to feel they have the right "fit." In the event you or I feel another clinician may be a better fit, I will be happy to provide you with referrals.
No, I do not accept insurance. If you would like to use me as an out-of-network provider, I can provide you with a Super Bill.
If you have a question that is not addressed here or elsewhere on my site, please do not hesitate to call (951-541-6813) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) me.
